Carpenter, president of the Tourist club, who pointed out that while the chieftain has a repertoire of more than 700 songs In seven languages and 18 operas, he prefers to specialize in the folk lore of the red man.

Dr. Carpenter says the Indian singer has made five concert tours in Europe and has toured this country with the San Carlo Opera company." The chief has made several appearances in movies. Fooshe, 74, 1544 Jefferson who died in a Miami hospital Monday, was a well-known authority on cotton for many years in Memphis, Tenn and New York City. A resident here for 10 years.
