Lauderdale, The Associated Press BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -Mayor Ruben Carrier of La Plata was killed last night by machine-gun fire that struck the car in which he was riding, police sources said. La Plata is the capital of Buenos Aires Province. Carrier, identified with the orthodox wing of Peronism supporting President Isabel Peron, was heading toward Buenos Aires with two companions and his chauffeur when several automobiles intercepted his car. Police reported Carrier's companions were wounded. Argentina is beset by political divisions in the Peronist movement and by guerrilla violence.

ORO Helen Oro. age 79, of 2671 Pine bland Road. Sunrise, passed away Monday. She is survived by her son George Sirawski of Heightstown, N. daughters Mrs.

Mary (James) Ferencz of Sunrise, Mrs. Helen Franklin of Berwyn Heights, Mrs. Rose Lindsey of Springfield, IS grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Oro came to this area fvie months ago from Vintondale, Pa.

Mrs. Oro will be transferred to NantyOo, for services and burial. STEWART Mrs. Olene M. Stewart, age 86, of 761 NE 40 Street, Boca Raton, died Monday at the Fountain Nursing Home following an extended illnes.

Mrs. Stewart came to Boca Raton from Boynton Beach where she had resided for the past nine years. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, and was an attorney for the Bureau of Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D. C. She is survived by two brothers, Elvin C.

Wangs-ness Boca Raton, and Henry Wangsness, Miller S. two sisters. Mrs. Ellen C. Bray, Lake San Marcos, Ca.

and Mrs. Louise R. Smith, Miller, S. D. Remains will be sent to Miller, S.

GUY Raymond F. Guy. 76, of 2320 NE 34 Court, Lighthouse Point, died Saturday. Came here 12 years ago from Ha worth, N. where he had been associated with National Broadcasting Company as an executive engineer.

Fort Lauderdale mm Raymond F. Guy, who was the oldest living radio engineer and the last of the original radio pioneers, died Saturday at Lighthouse Point. He was 76. An engineering executive for National Broadcasting Guy came to Florida 12 years ago from Haworth, N. J.

He resided at 2320 NE 34th Ct. Guy served with the Marconi Wireless Telegraphic Co. in 1917, the Independent Wireless Telegraph Co. in 1920, and was the original engineer of the Westinghouse Radio Broadcasting station in Newark, N. in 1921.

He was director of field activities of Radio Station WJZ in New York City from 1923 to 1924 and was radio 583-4153 frequency and executive engineer in charge of all NBC radio transmitters for broadcasting and television from 1924 until his retirement. He was a member of the Gold Coasters professional radio executives club, past president of the Institute of Radio Engineers, member of the Television Broadcasters Association, past president of the Veteran Wireless Operators Association, member of the Society of Professional Engineers, the Republic Methodist Club of Radio Executives, past president of the Radio Pioneers, and an author. Surviving are his widow, Myrtie; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Hanson of Mahway, N.J.; and two grandchildren and a sister. Private services were conducted yesterday at the R.

She was 86. Mrs. Stewart, who had resided at Boynton Beach for nine years, went to Washington, DC, as the result of a recruitment campaign for women when most available men went to While she worked with the IRS, she attended night school in Washington and received her law degree. During the 1930s, she returned to night school and earned her master's degree in accounting.

She retired in 1953. She was a member of the Advent Lutheran Church at Boca Raton and a member of the District of Columbia Bar. She is survived by two brothers, including Elvin C. Wangsness of Boca Raton, and two sisters. Services and burial will be in South Dakota, with local arrangements by R.
