Actor Ross Miirtin, master of disguise as a frontier secret agent on the tele- viion series The Wild Wild West! hfls died of a heart seizure while playing tennis. He was 61.

-Martin, who collected more than jflO film, television and stage credits during his career, was stricken riday at the San Diego Country Estates and was pronounced dead Shortly afterwards at a hospital, Officials said. Martin had suffered a heart attack in 1969. Although, the Polish-born Martin seen in a variety of character roles during his career, he did not achieve stardom he played agent Artemus Gordon on The Wild Wild West from 1965 to 1969. "When I heard about it I wept," i said Robert Conrad, who co-starred in the series as agent James T. West.

"He was a credit to this world, and if more people werr? like Ross Martin it would be a better place to live in." Born in Grodek, Poland, in 1920, Martin was only a few days old his family came to the United States. i He and his wife, Olavee, lived in Los Angeles, where services were pending. Dr. Paul G. Shell, founder of Broward County's Health Department, died Saturday in Broward General Medical Center at the age of 86.

Shell had been bedridden for the past four years after suffering a stroke in 1977. tie retired from private practice in January 1978. He moved to South Florida in 1935 from Piney Flats, and became the "county in Broward after a brief stint as a phvsician at the U.S. Marine Hospital in Key West. In 1936, he set up the county's Health Department, establishing.
