LOWETH Betty 66 of Ft. Lauderdale, a 30 year resident coming from Fram-ington, MA, died Thursday. Originally from Toledo, OH. For many years prior to her arrival in Ft. Lauderdale, a great deal of time was spent in New England Her summers were spent in Merrimack, NH.

She was instrumental in the opening of the first Zayre's store in Hyannls, MA, and traveled throughout the chain as a Trouble Shooter. During WWII, she rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, and was a member of the American Legion. Wife of the late Clifford Loweth; daughter of the late, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chandler.

Survived by loving friend, Bud Rose; children, Jillian Gabriel, Christian Loweth and Barbara Beck; eight granchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by a myriad of close friends. She was a beautiful, loving individual, both in her physical being and in her spiritual demeanor. All who knew her feel blessed by that good fortune.
