Air Force Band in a special ceremony commemorating the 40th and 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Air Force Band. Lt. Col. Heiberg received the Legion of Merit, awarded by the U.S. Air Force and the Army Commendation Medal and he was a member of the Retired Officers Association National and Local.

Lt. Col.
