Services will be Saturday 11 a.m. at the JORDANTHOMAS GARDEN CHAPEL with Rev. Harold L. Brooks, Christ Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Warren, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers friends may make donations to Christ Methodist Church. Arrangements by Paul W. Eaton, 73, of 531 NE 17th Street, Boca Raton died Thursday. Born in Massachusetts and received his law degree from George Washington University. Served as an officer in World War Retired as an official of the General Accounting Office in 1957 after 40 years service.

(P) George M. Ivey, chairman of the board of J. B. Ivey died at Presbyterian Hospital Friday at the age of 71. Son of the late Joseph B.

Ivey, founder of the chain which now owns 16 department stores in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida, Ivey became president of the company in 1956. He was advanced to chairman of the board last May -when his son, George 1 M. Ivey took over as president. In 1961 Ivey was appointed to the U.S. Trade Mission to Fin(land, and made several other trips abroad on both religious and business projects.

Besides his widow and son, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Patrick Matthews of White Oak, S.C.; and three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Ivey Walker of Brawley, Mrs. Ella VOTE of MAY 7 FOR Chesley V.
