ANNIVERSARIES Daniel and Adele Roseman Roseman Daniel and Adele Roseman of Boynton Beach celebrated 50 years of marriage March 22. A family dinner party is planned, as well as a Caribbean cruise with their children aboard the Mariner of the Seas. The Rosemans, who met on a double date when Adele was dating Daniel's best friend, were married March 22, 1953, in Atlantic City, N.J. They moved to Florida in 1999 from Margate, N.J. Daniel Roseman retired in 1978 as owner and operator of the St.

Charles Hotel, a kosher resort, and the Midtown Motor Inn and Coachman's Pub in Atlantic City. Adele Roseman retired that same year as owner and operator of the properties. The Rosemans have two daughters, Laura Yudof and Gail Stamler. They also have three grandchildren. Alex and Shirlee Gershman Gershman Alex and Shirlee Gershman of Delray Beach and Hamden, celebrated 60 years of marriage March 30 with family and friends at a brunch at the Westchester Country Club in Boynton Beach.

The Gershmans, who met at a friend's 18th birthday party, were married March 28, 1943, in New Haven, Conn. Alex Gershman retired in 1980 as a meat cutter. Shirlee Gershman retired in 1989 as a lab technician at Yale Universi ty. The Gershmans have twc daughters, Sandra Jodrie and Adrian Federico. They also have five grandchildren.

Angove Ralph Noble and Frances Gloria Angove of Pompano Beach celebrated 60 years of marriage March 20 at a family dinner party at the Old Florida Seafood restaurant in Wilton Manors. The Angoves met when Ralph leaned over and kissed Frances in a booth at Tony's restaurant in Petrolia, Ontario, Canada. They were married March 20, 1943, in Clawson, Mich. They moved to Florida in 1965 from Royal Oak, Mich. Ralph Angove retired as the owner of a plumbing business.

Frances retired from secretarial work for their business. The Angoves have five children, Judy Lee Angove, Jerilou Anderson, Ralph Angove, Blake Angove and Buff Campbell. They also have nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren with another on the way. ANNIVERSARIES Irv and SallyJean Dweir Dweir Irv and SallyJean Dweir of Delray Beach celebrated 55 years of marriage March 27 with a dinner at Mark's CityPlace restaurant in West Palm Beach and a dinner party with friends the following evening at the Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach. The Dweirs, who met at a college dance and danced the entire night while SallyJean's date was busy photographing the event, were married March 27, 1948, in New York City.

They moved to Florida in 1992 from Woodbury, Long Island, N.Y. Irv Dweir retired in 1990 as a composer and producer of music for radio, television and education. SallyJean retired in 1987 as a special education teacher in the public schools in Hicksville, Long Island, and as adjunct professor of special education at C.W. Post and SUNY colleges. The Dweirs have four children, Fredrick Dweir, Robin Mummert, Leslie Dweir and Dawn Effron.

They also have seven grandchildren. Melvin and Rhoda Gopin Gopin and friends at the Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. The Gopins, who met on a blind date arranged by friends, were married March 28, 1953, in New York City. They moved to Florida in 1989 from Edison, N.J. Melvin Gopin retired in 1989 from sales in the floor covering industry.

Rhoda Gopin retired that same year as a bookkeeper. The Gopins have two children, Lori Tfirn and Richard Melvin and Rhoda Gopin Tamarac celebrated 50 years of marriage March 29 with family Sam and Estelle Schwartz Schwartz Sam 1 and Estelle Schwartz of Delay Beach celebrated 60 years of marriage with celebrations with family and friends in New York, Las Vegas, and Florida. The Schwartzes, who met on a group blind date, were married March 26, 1943, in Fort McClellen, Ala. They moved to Florida in 1985 from Forest Hills, N.Y. Sam Schwartz retired in 1984 from the wholesale tobacco and candy business.

The Schwartzes have two children, Ronni Winik and Arthur Shaw. They also have three grandchildren and a -grandchild with another due later this month. The Weiners have three children, Robin Friedman, Brent Weiner and Cindy Steuer. They also have six grandchildren. Ivan and Helen Kenis Kenis Ivan and Helen Kenis of Boca Raton celebrated 60 years of marriage March 22 with a dinner party at Pete's restaurant in Boca Raton. A family celebration also is planned. The Kenises, who met while working at a bakery, were married March 21, 1943, in St.

Paul, Minn. They moved to Florida in 1993 from St. Louis. Ivan Kenis retired in 1985 as vice president of the Winchester Group of Olin Corp. The Kenises have three children, Sheri Finkelstein, Jeffrey Kenis and Debra Rosenbloom.

They also have seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Gene and Audrey Sheinman Sheinman Gene and Audrey Sheinman of Boynton Beach celebrated 50 years of marriage March 21 at a dinner party given by relatives and friends at Benvenuto's restaurant in Boynton Beach. They also are planning a trip to Las Vegas with their children and grandchildren. The Sheinmans, who met on the beach at Coney Island in New York, were married March 21, 1953, in Brooklyn, N.Y. They moved to Florida in 1991 from Manhasset, N.Y.

Gene Sheinman retired in 2000 from the electronics industry. The Sheinmans have two children, Dr. Steven Sheinman and Robin Cohen. They also have four grandchildren. Phillip D.

Mr. Sykes received his bachelor's degree from University of Carolina at Wilmington and his master's degree in chemistry from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stewart announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Elizabeth Ann Stewart, to Mr. Jeffrey Aloysius Michel, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Monty Michel. Miss Stewart, a graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School, was graduated with High Distinction from the University of Virginia with a degree in Biochemistry, and from Nova Southeastern University with a Masters of Public Health. She is currently working as an Immunology Specialist for Centocor, a division of Johnson and Johnson, in Orlando, FL. He is currently working as the Technical and Training Director for Massey Services in Orlando, FL.
