I 1 Wednesday, May 2, 2007 SOUTH FLORIDA SUN-SENTINEL 11B Broward County Stockelman Stockelman, Marilyn, 75, of Hollywood, FL passed away on April 29, 2007. Panciera Memorial Home, Stoye Stoye, Lorraine 82, of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away on April 28, 2007. Fred Hunter's University Drive Home, Turgeon Turgeon, Louise Nigrelli, age 96, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Stratford Court Healthcare Residence in Boca Raton, FL. Louise was born in Morensengo, Italy on November 22, 1910 and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Cocilio Novaris. She immigrated to the U.S.

in 1915. She lived in Pittsfield, MA for 65 years before relocating to Pompano Beach, FL in 1981. While residing in Pittsfield, she attended Nugent School, was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and was active in its Ladies Guild. In Pompano Beach she was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and its Ladies Society.

She was an expert Scrabble player and enjoyed organizing games and playing at Leisureville where she resided until December 2006. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Charles Turgeon. She devoted her life to caring for her handicapped daughter, Mary Lou Nigrelli who resided with her. She is also survived by two other daughters, Millie (Robert) Quillard of Boca Raton, FL, Josephine (Arthur) Sweeney of Port St. Lucy, FL; a sister, Lena Cimini of Pittsfield, MA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgranddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Louise was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Nigrelli and her 5 siblings. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Kraeer Funeral Home, 1199 E. Sample Pompano Beach, FL 33064. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM Friday, May 4th in St. Paul the Apostle Church.

Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Vincent Vincent, Sydney of Miramar, FL passed away on April 30, 2007. Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Wahlaj Weintraub Weintraub, Adrienne Born Adrienne Weiss in May 1945, Adie grew up and was educated in Bronx, NY.

Having married Bernie Weintraub in 1965, the newly wed couple moved to Maine and eventually settled in Peabody, MA where she taught physical and health education for thirty-five years. Earning her Masters Degree from Salem State College, Adie was a "teacher's Her colleagues sought her experience and guidance in furthering their own careers. Also, notably, our beloved Adie was a successful realtor prior to becoming extremely active as of Oakbrook Village of North Lauderdale during the past five years. Adie left us April 30th after briefly enduring illness. Her selfless giving will always be remembered lovingly by her husband Bernie; daughter, Alisa; and son, Lee of Sunrise; son, Jacob of Easton, MA and her five grandchildren, Gienah, David, Bryan, Eliana and Samantha.

Her kindness, intelligence and loving heart will be eternally missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and the countless students she had influenced during her remarkable lifetime. Funeral services will be held at Star of David, 7701 Bailey Rd North Lauderdale, on Friday, April 4th, at 10:30 a.m. Wilson Wilson, Billie, 81, ended her life's journey on April 26, 2007 after a brief illness. Billie was born April 18,1926 in Stevenson, Alabama to Purley and Ellie Brownfield. She was raised in Winchester, Tennessee and moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1962.

She retired from Stanley Works in 1991 and was a member of the Aluminum Brick and Glass Workers Local Union 433. She was a pilot and enjoyed flying in her early years. She was also an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed working with wood. She is survived by her nephews, Gary Stubblefield, Mike Stubblefield, Tracy Randall Brownfield; and niece, Watonnah Gallman. She was preceded in death by her dear sister, Lila Fay Stubblefield, and brothers, Red, Gordon and Crawford Brownfield.

A service will be held at 10am, Thursday, May 3rd at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. He was born in Brooklyn, NY.

Upon graduation from the University of Louisville Medical School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was decorated for his service as a medical officer during World War I in France, Germany and Austria and participated in the liberation of Dachau. Upon his return, he married the love of his life, Ruth Kopolsky; completed his post-graduate studies in Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology; and began a medical practice in Saratoga Springs, where he remained until his retirement in 1985. Dr.

Friedson served in numerous communal leadership positions, including 16 years as a member of the Saratoga Springs Board of Education, including multple terms as President. Dr. Friedson was a philanthropist who received numerous honors for his work in civic and religious charities, both locally and in Israel. Upon his retirement, Bernard and Ruth moved to Israel where he maintained a rigorous routine that included advanced religious learning and studies of history and archaeology. Five days before his death, Bernard and Ruth celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in the presence of their entire family.

In addition to his beloved wife, Dr. Friedson is survived by his children, Arlene Saslow of Ramot, Israel; Michael and Felice Friedson of Jerusalem; and Arthur S. Friedson of Chicago. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Israel Summer Clock, in Bet Shemesh.

Burial is in Etz Hayim Cemetery, Beit Shemesh, Israel. Shiva at the residence of Arthur Friedson, 920 West Sheridan Road, Apartment 209, Chicago, IL 60613, on Sunday, April 29th, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Monday the 30th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.

Walter Leeds was born in Vienna, Austria. His life was filled with many incredible accomplishments which many people may not realize. He was a modest man who worked tirelessly during world War 11 in conjunction with the U.S. Secret Service. Because of this work, many Nazi war criminals were brought to trial and imprisoned.

After the War, he turned his efforts toward saving the environment, working on ways to reduce the harmful effects on the atmosphere. Mr. Leeds invented and patented the non-aerosol spray mechanism which we all use in our everyday life. He was instrumental in the development and patenting of many other devices, for example the flip-top dispenser, another ubiquitous part of our daily routine. These are just a few of the many ways that Waiter Leeds made the world a better place to live.

He will be greatly missed by his adoring wife, Linda B. C. Leeds. He is also survived by his daughter Anya Jigot Leeds, who resides in Munich, Germany. The family requests that memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, be made to Hospice of P.B.C.
