He was active in the Masonic Order, a 32 degree Mason, Connetquot Lodge and a Shriner serving as a Hospital Representative for Kismet Temple. He retired from his career job located on Long Island, NY after working for them for 27 years. He and his wife raised their family in Bohemia, NY. They were active members of New Life Community Church located in Sayville, NY, where he served as Elder and sang in the choir. Upon retirement, he and his wife moved to Ft.

Lauderdale, FL in 1992 where they were active members of Christ Community Church and later First Presbyterian Church in Pompano Beach where he served as Elder. Jane was adept at arts and craft and enjoyed playing bridge. She is survived by two sons, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law, Patrick and Beth Sullivan of Jacksonville, FL, Michael and Jolene Sullivan of Westminister, MD, Margaret and David Koehler of Mercerville, NJ and Debbie Sullivan of River Ranch, FL.
