Sabina is survived by her husband, Angelo Merlino, who was her high school sweetheart. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her children: Anthony Merlino, Dr. Gary Merlino and Elizabeth Merlino. Her beautiful grandchildren brought great joy to her life: Nicholas Merlino, Katherine Merlino, Christopher Merlino, Erica Merlino, Biaggio Filomeno and Josh Adak. She loved and cherished her siblings, Salvatore (Sal) Pavone and Camille Auletta as well as, her many nieces and nephews.

Sabina is also survived by her dear uncle, Sonny Costa and his wife Mary. She will be missed by her honorary little brother, Joseph Merlino and his wife Josephine. Daughters-in-law, Carmen Merlino and Lisa Merlino, deeply loved and admired her. Sabina was also a caring and dutiful daughter to her predeceased parents, Frank and Ida Pavone. Her life touched many people and she garnered the affection of her friends, neighbors and co-workers.

As a pillar of strength for the family, she was an extraordinary presence in all our lives. She will be missed forever and will be in our hearts everyday. Morgan Morgan, John Dee of Plantation, FL, passed away peacefully June 29, 2008 following a valiant, eighteen-month battle with sarcoma cancer.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Morgan and Evelyn Krouse Morgan Keffer, and his son, William "Rocky" Penn. He is survived by his best friend of 43 years and wife of 2 years, Gail Morgan (Prowell); his daughter, Micki Kidd of Asheville, NC; two grandchildren, Morgan and Ryan Kidd; his sister, Barbara Morgan Harris (Jim) of North Ft. Myers; stepchildren, Pam Heileman (Robert), Robin Tinneny (Keith), Beau Prowell (Dana), John Prowell (Shannon); seven step-grandchildren; and many loving friends.

Born and raised in West Virginia, he moved to FL in 1962 and spent 30 years working for the the City of Ft. Lauderdale as a life guard on the beach and a supervisor of the Hall of Fame pool. He retired in 1997 and spent the last years of his life designing and building, with his own hands, his dream house. He chose to donate his body to the University of Miami school of medicine. His ashes will be scattered on Lake Chaweva in Charleston, WV, where he spent many happy hours as a young boy.

They lived in Kearny, NJ for 40 years where she was active in Congregation Bnai Israel, Jewish War Veterans, and the Newark Link of the Order of the Golden Chain.

After her children were born, she returned to the workplace in a family business and later as an administrative assistant with several area firms. When she retired, shortly after her husband's death, she moved to south Florida where she was active in United Order of True Sisters, Gold Coast Women Veterans, and Jewish War Veterans. Mrs. Rosen is survived by her daughters, Tobey (Jay) Warren and Barbara (Peter Gould) Rosen and her grandchildren: Shulamit Warren, Yonatan Warren and Shane Rosen-Gould. and joined the family business Nassau Decorators and ASID, creating luxury projects in NY and Miami. Prior to residence in Miami, Jack was married to Julie Ann Martin. In 1971 he founded Carousel Designs, Inc. in Miami, a highly successful, award-winning Co. In 1974, he married Dianne Roberts (and welcomed daughter, Michelle into his life.) who later joined Carousel during its major expansion including a second showroom opened in DCOTA.

After selling Carousel, he resided in NC and Palm City, FL before moving to The Villages. Jack is preceded in death by beloved parents, Louis and Sylvia Gordon, and beloved son, Michael David Gordon.
